Case Study

A mushroom farm had been producing mushrooms for the local restaurant and pub market for many years. During recent times the low price of imported mushrooms from Holland had resulted in the growing operation no longer being viable and production ceased.

Thus an alternative use was sought for the site.

Surveyline submitted an application for a Change of Use to B1 (Office/Light Industrial). Planning Permission was granted by the Local Council and we subsequently let all of the units on what became a Business Centre providing small local firms with affordable premises, and the Farmer with an income from the Buildings.
